Privacy Protection Policy
Nakano Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the company”) recognizes that appropriate and safe handling and management of personal information for business use is an important responsibility of the company. We also consider such handling and management as fundamental to establishing a steady relationship of trust with our customers. The company protects personal information in accordance with the following policy.
1. Acquisition of personal information
The company will acquire personal information in an appropriate and fair manner. Having acquired personal information, we shall, except in cases in which the purpose of utilization has already been publicly announced, promptly notify the customers concerned of the purpose of utilization, or publicly announce the purpose of utilization after the acquisition. We will keep the acquired personal information accurate and ensure the security the acquired personal information.
2. Utilization of personal information
The company will use personal information appropriately within the scope necessary for the purpose of utilization, which will be notified and announced to our customers. In cases when personal information is used jointly with third parties, or entrusted to third parties, we shall exercise appropriate supervision to maintain confidentiality after thorough investigation, unless the personal information is to be treated as a special exception to laws and regulations.
3. Provision of personal information to third parties
The company will not disclose or provide personal data to third parties without the prior consent of the customers concerned. In addition, when the handling of personal information is entrusted to trustees, the information provided shall be limited to necessary information only, and we shall exercise appropriate supervision by prescribing the duties of the management of personal information in accordance with contracts, etc. for trustees.
4. Management of personal information
The company will keep personal information accurate, ensure the security of the information, and take security control measures to prevent the danger of unauthorized computer access, etc. from the outside as well as loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage, etc. of personal information.
5. Disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and elimination of personal information
The company will recognize that customers have the right to demand disclosure, revision, suspension of use, elimination, etc. of personal information that relates to them in accordance with laws and regulations, and will respond promptly to a reasonable extent when these requests have justifiable grounds.
6. Inquiries regarding personal data
The customers may request disclosure, notice of purpose of utilization, correction, and suspension of use, etc. of personal data that relates to them. If such a request is made, the company will require that proof of identity be provided in accordance with laws and regulations. After that, we will respond to a reasonable extent.
